From Cambodia to the world
Founded in 2024, Almée Couture is a Cambodian couture house led by CEO & Founder Taing Sokhang — who designs under the name “Hang” and brings over ten years of experience in fashion design.
Every gown is handcrafted and made-to-measure in Phnom Penh: silk tulle and organza carrying crystals, gemstones and sequins, beaded by hand over weeks — some pieces for more than two months.
The maison is founded
Taing Sokhang opens Almée Couture after more than a decade designing, to carry Khmer heritage into modern couture.
A historic debut
Spirit of the Forgotten makes Almée the first Cambodian couture house to show at New York Fashion Week.
Chapter II
The story continues at Sanya Bridal Fashion Week — celestial motifs reborn amid China’s coastal light.
Le Jardin Des Rêves
A dreamlike garden of irises, calla lilies and swans returns the maison to the New York runway.
